When raising any kind of plants it is crucial to observe the plant and what is affecting it. In this picture I have found a bug that is eating away at my cauliflower plants. In order to control the pest I used a dry powder insecticide.
One of the biggest challenges with raising a garden is weed control. In this photo I am working on weeding my garden. This provides valuable skills such as weed identification and the steps to proper weed control.
This photo is of me feeding my cattle in the middle of a winter storm. This photo goes to show the commitment that every farmer must put in every day in order to run a successful operation. At this time of year my cattle were grazing corn stocks and I supplement that diet with a combination of alfalfa hay and oats straw hay.
